Product description

Wellness for Centuries

Sleep is an essential part of a healthy, balanced life. It helps heal and repair the body, and is often the panacea for what ails you. Ongoing sleep deficiency is linked to an increased risk of a long list of chronic illnesses. Whether you’re not getting 8 to 10 hours of restful, restorative sleep or have occasional sleeplessness, Pacific Herbs iSleep Herb Pack can help!

Over-the-counter and prescription medication for sleep have a host of unwanted side effects. iSleep, on the other hand, is 100 percent natural, so you won’t have morning grogginess or other side effects. There’s also no risk of addiction. Many of the herbs in iSleep are used in traditional Chinese cooking, such as jujube seed, poria and licorice. Herbs made from foods are the safest types of remedies. The combination of herbs in iSleep was originally written down over 800 years ago. Chinese herbs are not only time tested, but they are also extensively clinically tested. Many studies have shown Chinese herbs to be effective at managing sleeplessness, including an extensive one in Taiwan in 2010 with over 16,000 participants, who had difficulty falling asleep and staying asleep.

iSleep works by gently relaxing your body and calming your active mind. When your mind is quiet, your body can fall asleep naturally. Thus, iSleep allows you to fall asleep quickly and stay in deep, restful sleep so you can wake up alert and productive, without the morning grogginess associated with most sleeping aids. Not only can iSleep give you a restful night of sleep, but it can also improve your sleep pattern over time. iSleep can be used safely long term.

You can take iSleep before bed if you have difficulty falling asleep or in the middle of the night if you have trouble staying asleep. Just dissolve .5 to 1.5 tsp of granules in warm water and drink like a delicious cup of tea or place directly on the tongue and swallow with water or juice. Either way you get a therapeutic amount of our full spectrum concentrated herbal extracts. Unlike other herbal and non-herbal sleep aids on the market, Pacific Herbs iSleep Herb Pack does not contain fillers, binders nor any unnatural chemicals with hard-to-pronounce names. As with all of our products, our iSleep Herb Pack contains only pure, potent herbs grown in nature that have been extensively tested for purity and potency.

Are your supplements full of fillers, also known as excipients? Most vitamins and herbs including “natural health supplements”, are made with fillers, such as starch, magnesium stearate, sugar or titanium dioxide. Fillers have no health benefits and, in fact, they may be harmful. Magnesium stearate, also known as magnesium salt, is commonly used as a lubricant so ingredients in supplements and vitamins don’t stick to the machinery during compression and mixing. When machines are working optimally, without clogging, production schedules and profitability can be controlled. Thus, fillers ultimately benefit the manufacturer and their bottom line, not your health. Excipients are also used to extend the shelf life of Chinese herb products, as well as help achieve a uniform 5 to 1 herb ratio. Excipients usage in Chinese herbal products ranges anywhere from 35 percent to 50 percent of a 100-gram bottle of extract, the same percentages apply to capsule herb products.

Excipients toxicity and safety has been a controversial subject for more than a decade. Although a lot more research needs to be done, some studies suggests excipients destroy immunity by bursting T-Cells and block nutrient uptake. There is just simply too much we don’t know about how excipients interact in our bodies. What’s also worrisome is that FDA labeling requirements do not require the manufacturer to list the amount of excipients used. This leaves room for lots of speculation and ambiguity regarding the strength of these products, because there’s no way to know how much product in the bottle is filler and how much is vitamins and/or herbal extract. With Pacific Herbs, however, there is absolutely no ambiguity. We take great pride in offering Chinese Herbal Supplements without any fillers or binders, so you know exactly what you’re putting in your body. Our herbs, due to the lack of fillers, binders and other excipients commonly used in capsules and tablets, have shown to have superior absorption and, thus, greater bioavailability.

Pacific Herbs understands the concerns some may have about the safety and efficacy of Chinese Herbal Supplements. That’s why we want to be as transparent as possible about how our herbs are tested and produced. We’re also unafraid to be transparent, because our herbs are tested and produced by Tianjiang, a world leader in developing Chinese Herbal Extracts and a pioneer in related fields of scientific research since the 1990s. Tianjiang is a CFDA-approved GMP manufacturing pharmaceutical company, and a USA CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) complied health product supplier. USA CGMP is the gold standard in terms of regulations for pharmaceutical-grade herbal supplements. To ensure the highest standard of quality for its products, Tianjiang’s herbs are rigorously tested in precision laboratories using precisely controlled inspections. Tianjiang prides itself on the most modern manufacturing to ensure safety, quality and potency in all their products.

We’re very much aware that imposters and unscrupulous practices exist in this industry. Such practices include passing off one herb for another that is very similar, which results in a formulation that lacks potency. For Chinese Herbal Supplements to be effective, it is crucial that each herb used in the formulation is precisely the correct genius and species. That’s why we go to great lengths to confirm the identity and verify the chemical constituents of the herbs we use. State-of-the-art equipment, such as HPLC spectrometers, gives us unique and detailed information on each herb, just like a fingerprint. In addition to high-tech equipment, we also utilize organoleptic inspection, which is sensory inspection of the raw herbs by highly trained personnel to make sure we only use the highest quality ingredients for our Chinese herbal supplements.

Chinese herbs are derived from natural plant and mineral products, so they’re vulnerable to insect infestation. To control decay, the vast majority of raw herbs are sprayed with sulfur-based chemicals during the drying process. Pacific Herbs does NOT buy any products that have been sprayed with sulfur dioxide (SD), because the byproduct is unacceptable to us as it often changes the chemical structure of the herbs. Sulfur can also have significant side effects on some people, such as asthmatics. For those not suffering from asthma, the most common reactions can include diarrhea & headaches. Because we don’t buy products that have been sprayed, we have very stringent policies for raw herb sourcing of our products. In addition to examining for sulfur residue, we use tools, such as thin layer chromatography scanning, to ensure that our herbs are free from contaminants and heavy metals just to name a couple.

Pacific Herbs was founded in 2010 by a Licensed Acupuncturist and Board-Certified Herbalist, Cathy Margolin. While raising children and coping with the health challenges of her family and friends, Cathy became discouraged with Western medicine’s lack of holistic and preventative care. Out of frustration she turned to Alternative and Complementary Medicine, such as herbs, acupuncture and healthy foods. After witnessing the healing powers in these modalities, Cathy became an acupuncturist and herbalist herself.

In 2010, Cathy went to China and Taiwan to extensively research the manufacturing and raw material sourcing of herbal products, as well as evaluate herbal pharmaceutical manufacturers, with the aim of bringing health and wellness through Complementary Herbal Medicine to the general public. Pacific Herbs was, thus, born to provide the most potent Chinese herbal supplements, sourced from the highest quality raw materials and processed in a state-of-the-art pharmaceutical facility with the most advanced equipment to cook and process raw herbs. Currently, over half the planet uses herbal medicine, and for centuries, millions of people have used the very same Traditional Chinese herbal formulas that Pacific Herbs uses in its herbal supplements. Manufacturing for our products is under strict (USA CGMP) Current Good Manufacturing Process standards, the gold standard for pharmaceutical-grade herbal supplements. The scientists and researchers who extract the Pacific Herbs concentrated granules have developed numerous patented technologies and acquired the most sophisticated equipment to test raw herbs for contaminants. In addition, expiration dates and lot numbers to trace all the herbs in each batch are stamped on every product.
